Dear advisors, delegates, and friends of NAIMUN,

Greetings from Washington, D.C.! As the Secretary-General and Executive Director of NAIMUN LXIII, we cannot wait to welcome you to the 63rd iteration of the North American Invitational Model United Nations, held at the Washington Hilton . This year, we hope to build upon the premier Model United Nations experience for which NAIMUN is known, including substantive excellence, academic rigor, and educational programming. NAIMUN LXIII will host delegates from across the U.S. and the world in forty-two groundbreaking, innovative, and immersive committees.

Our entire staff is incredibly passionate and excited about making NAIMUN LXIII the best possible experience for delegates of all backgrounds. Through realistic and substantive debate, engaging speakers and panels, and programming in the nation’s capital, we hope that this conference will ignite delegates’ curiosity for international affairs. All of our 250+ Georgetown University undergraduate staffers share our dedication to educating the next generation of global leaders. Together, we hope to equip NAIMUN’s 3,300+ high school delegates with lifelong public speaking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication skills, as well as a general awareness of global issues.

We are excited to announce this year’s theme for NAIMUN LXIII: Innovate, Implement, Inspire! We have carefully picked a theme that we believe encapsulates the spirit of NAIMUN that will push the boundaries of the conference’s mission. We are so excited to see how delegates will come to embody this theme over the course of the NAIMUN conference weekend.

Conference Experience	Meetings, accommodations, and social activities all take place within the campuses of MIT, or at the heart of USA, allowing for a deep immersion into university campus life and crosscultrual experience; Small committees with 20-30 participants, providing more speaking and networking opportunities, resulting in effective interaction and conference experience.	Conferences and accommodations are in downtown hotels, limited experience of university campus culture; Large committees with hundreds of participants, limited speaking and networking opportunities.
Certificates	Model United Nations conference participation certificate; ASDAN Short Course - Model United Nations certificate authorized by Ofqual, and AoPE certificate (optional) valued at 8 points, aiding future applications.	Model United Nations conference participation certificate.
Visit	In addition to participating in Model United Nations conferences, visits to international institutions (United Nations headquarters), cultural and art centers (Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Museum of Natural History) are included. In-depth visits to renowned universities (talk with Chinese students studying abroad, guided campus tours by alumni) are also part of the program.	Model United Nations conferences and visits to cities, touring local tourist attractions and museums, visiting university campuses with limited in-depth interactions.
Learning Record	ASDAN Qualities Assessment Report : Comprehensive recording and assessment of students' performance and strengths throughout their participation in Model United Nations, in accordance with Western university academic standards. School leaders, teachers, parents, and future university admissions offices can gain a clear understanding of students' performance during this period. Students who prepare earnestly and perform well in MUN are distinguished from those who travel abroad under the guise of MUN for leisure.	Photos and reflections of the journey.
Academic System	Designed to cultivate six core competencies of international quality education, in-depth learning in four major areas: MUN conferences, university experiences, global citizenship, and arts and humanities. Pre-departure training and guidance by professional academic mentors to help students complete the ASDAN Qualities Assessment Report.	/
