Introduction
University College London (UCL), as one of the G5 group in the UK, is ranked 9th in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and is renowned globally for its academic excellence and innovative, interdisciplinary research. In the summer of 2026, ASEEDER is proud to present the International Finance & Business Summer School at UCL.
Students will have an opportunity to live and study on the UCL campus, immersing themselves in the academic atmosphere of a G5 institution. The programme brings together two courses: the International Finance focused on core financial practical skills, while the Innovation & Entrepreneurship concentrated on the end-to-end process of building a business. Taught by seasoned professionals and industry mentors from top international firms like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, this programme offers a rare opportunity to enhance academic credentials and broaden global perspectives.

Level 4 Certification of The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF)
The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) was founded in 1879. Initiated by the British Bankers' Association and officially authorised by a Royal Charter, it is dedicated to delivering highly professional and practical financial courses, competency certifications, and finance-related competitions. LIBF commits itself to nurturing, assessing and certifying outstanding modern finance talents for the global financial sector. With a 140-year history to date, its students and alumni can be found across 120 countries worldwide.
As a rare professional financial competency certification globally tailored for secondary school students, LIBF’s financial certification is hailed as “the CFA for high schoolers”. It serves as a vital professional credential for university applications, especially for business-related programmes, particularly those in finance. Upon completion of this programme, students will be awarded the LIBF Level 4 Certification, whose academic recognition is equivalent to that of undergraduate-level financial course certifications within the LIBF framework.


Morgan Stanley Certification (International Finance)
Morgan Stanley, Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New York, Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services provider. Its core business focuses on three pillars: Institutional Securities, Global Wealth Management, and Asset Management, all delivering strong growth in 2025. By end-September 2025, its Investment Management division oversaw assets worth $18.1 trillion—roughly matching Australia’s 2025 GDP ($18.3 trillion, IMF forecast) and on par with the annual GDP of major economies like Spain and Mexico, a testament to its robust standing in global asset management. Alongside Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, it ranks among the world’s top investment banks, dominating core global capital market operations.
Morgan Stanley Advanced Finance Challenge:Students enrolled in international finance courses will participate in this 2-hour immersive financial role simulation, co-hosted by Morgan Stanley and AmplifyME. The challenge uses a hands-on system to fully assess students’ finance-related competencies and pinpoint their career paths. Its certification and practical performance serve as strong credentials for pursuing internships and even full-time roles at the firm.
TQUK UCAS Certification (Optional for: Innovation and Entrepreneurship)
Training Qualifications UK (TQUK) was founded in 2013. It is among the top 10 qualification-awarding bodies in the UK, and also one of the country’s most innovative and modern ones. TQUK is accredited and regulated by Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), the UK government's qualifications authority. Currently, TQUK offers over 300 professional qualifications covering 15 major disciplines.
UCAS Tariff Points refer to the scores converted from applicants’ specific academic qualifications, project outcomes or professional certificates under UCAS Tariff system. These points boost competitiveness when applying for undergraduate programmes in the UK via UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). Students who opt for the UCAS Tariff Points service will be awarded 8 UCAS points upon completing, submitting and passing the assessment of all required project deliverables.
