Introduction

Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York State, is one of the eight Ivy League institutions. Cornell University Economics and Business Summer School lasts for two weeks. It provides approximately 50 class hours of academic courses, with renowned professors teaching face-to-face and delving deep into international economic and business issues. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as college application lectures, career planning sharing sessions, and business simulation challenges, truly experiencing the campus culture and academic atmosphere of American universities. Students will also take part in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as visiting the Niagara Falls, the Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, the botanical gardens, and attending summer lawn concerts, etc.

Official Summer School with Renowned Professors Teaching
The program offers approximately 50 hours of academic courses in English, which are personally taught by professors from prestigious universities. These courses cover professional subjects in fields such as applied economics, big data and business analytics, finance, and management.Business Simulation Challenge and Practical Experience
Through group business simulation challenges and presentation reports, students will integrate theoretical knowledge learned in the courses into practical applications, enhancing their teamwork skills and practical abilities.Obtain Official Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation
Students who successfully complete the program and pass the standardized achievement exam will receive an official certificate of completion and a transcript. Additionally, the top 20% of students will have the opportunity to receive a letter of recommendation. They will also be able to participate in college application lectures and engage in in-depth discussions with industry leaders, Admissions Committee, or current students, gaining insights into successful application strategies in various areas.Diversity in the Ivy League Life Experience
Students will study in multicultural classes and reside in dormitories at Cornell University throughout the program. Course Introduction
Cornell University Economics and Business Summer School exclusively offers high-quality courses taught by professors from prestigious universities such as Introduction to Economics (including applied economics, behavioral economics, etc.) , Business Management, Big Data and Business Analytics (using Python programming language), and Business Simulation Challenges. In addition, there are academic lectures on finance, economics, etc. delivered by industry experts and professors. These experts and professors will have one-on-one exchanges with students to explore the most cutting-edge research topics.
■ Course Content:
Applied & Behavioral Economics
Analyze the practical applications of market mechanisms, government policies, and economic phenomena. Combining insights from psychology and economics, explore topics such as consumer behavior, environmental policies, and sustainable practices.
Finance/Management
Study the core concepts of capital markets, investment strategies, and risk management. This course introduces fundamental ideas in marketing, accounting, organizational design, corporate management, strategic planning, and leadership. Students will participate in individual and team case study analyses, as well as the evaluation of US listed companies.
Big Data & Business Analytics
Use methods such as statistics and machine learning for data collection, and learn data analysis and visualization skills to support business decision-making and predictive analysis.
Introduction to Python & Data Visualization
Learn the programming syntax and operations of Python. Students will also learn how to use a series of Python libraries for data analysis, such as NumPy, MatPlotLib, Seaborn, Pandas, and Scikit, to drive decisionmaking analysis and presentation with data.

Program Information

High school students in grades 9-12, interested in Economics, Finance, Management, Financial Mathematics, and related subjects.
■ Requirements:
- English language level equivalent to IELTS level 6.5 or TOEFL 90.
- Recommendation letter from your teacher as proof of English proficiency, or a phone or online interview with an ASEEDER teacher.
■ Fee
Includes:
- Tuition, accommodation(Twin room in the dormitory of Cornell University), all meals, extracurricular activities, exploration fees during the program, drop-off and pick-up fees between the Airport and Cornell University, ASEEDER group leader service fee (assembly and unitedly departure from Beijing/Shanghai/Shenzhen/Hong Kong with the group leader), international insurance, and study materials.
